Shooting at Canadian School: Ten Dead

At least ten people have died following a shooting at a school in western Canada, and one of the deceased is the suspected attacker, according to local police sources. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) stated that several people also suffered varying injuries during the incident and were treated by doctors. The police specified that six bodies were found inside the Tumbler Ridge secondary school in British Columbia, while another person died on the way to the hospital, and two more bodies were discovered in a nearby house believed to be connected to the case. The RCMP confirmed that the suspect's body was found inside the school with a 'self-inflicted wound'. Two people with potentially life-threatening injuries were airlifted to a hospital, and 25 others are being assessed for injuries at a local medical center. The nearby Tumbler Ridge elementary school was briefly placed on lockdown, but police allowed students to be released to their parents while the motives for the event are investigated.
