Recently serving Canadian Prime Minister, Mark Carney, expressed confidence that the correct response to the introduction of tariffs announced by Donald Trump will demonstrate "significant impact on the United States and limited impact on Canada."
According to Mark Carney, the decision to impose tariffs on neighbors to the south is a poor policy that brings harm to both one country and another. He also added that Canada has the ability to adopt measures that inflict the greatest damage on the U.S. and minimal damage to Canada.
"We will continue to work to protect Canadian jobs and show that we support our companies," emphasized Mark Carney.
