David Coulier Diagnosed with Aggressive Lymphoma

Actor David Coulier, known for his role in the series Full House, revealed in an exclusive interview with People magazine that he was diagnosed with stage B Hodgkin lymphoma. Coulier initially thought that the symptoms he was experiencing were due to a common cold, but as they persisted, he decided to see a doctor. After further tests, medical professionals informed him that he had this aggressive type of cancer.

"We wish we had better news for you, but you have Hodgkin lymphoma and it's stage B, very aggressive," Coulier said about the news he received from health professionals. The actor described the transition from receiving a cancer diagnosis as overwhelming, going from feeling ill to facing this disease.

Despite the severity of the diagnosis, Coulier has an encouraging prognosis, with a 90% chance of recovery. This is because a test on his bone marrow returned negative results for cancerous cells, which increased his chances of cure. Treatment for this type of cancer at an advanced stage involves several cycles of chemotherapy, being more intensive due to the spread of cancer and the presence of advanced symptoms.

The 65-year-old actor, internationally recognized for his role as Uncle Joey in Full House, openly shared his experience with the disease, emphasizing the importance of seeking medical attention for any persistent discomfort. Coulier recounted that his illness initially manifested as a respiratory infection, similar to a common cold, which he did not consider relevant at first.
